HW5 and Mount Shasta
HW5 was mostly boring ... till we got to Redding. From there things became more interesting!
Creater Lake and viscinity
We were surprized to find so much snow on HW-62
The visitor center was burried in snow.
We took a nice look at the lake, just before sunset...
After talking to the ranger, we decided to spend the night camping on the rim.
We then headed towards Diamond-Lake.
Unfortunatly, the area is heavily used by snow-mobiles so we decided to move on.
HW-138 and the waterfalls
There were many waterfalls along the way
Mount Washington & Three Sisters area
We found a place to camp below snow level.
We did a day of X-country near Hoodo ski Field. we had great views of beautiful Mt. washington.
After a long hard day, we spoiled ourselves a little...
After 4 days of sunshine.... the weather started to change, and on our way to Portland it started snowing heavily.
Portland
In Portland we stayed at my old friend from highschool - Rajeli and her husband Josh.
We went to the Japanese and Chinese gardens in Portland.
It was surprizing to see that Ashkelon was on the sign ?!##?!#?!#
